The dream of a Florentine mountaineer and scholar, Pietro Pratesi, took shape in 1950, as a hut built on a large lawn in the middle of what was to become the village of Selva.
In those same years the first chair lift was built, the famous Dantercepies, paving the way for Selva to become one of the most renowned places for ski lovers.
The history of Chalet Pratesi is closely linked to the passions of the family that built it. Today it is very coveted place, thanks to its central location, perfect for enjoying the warm, welcoming atmosphere. In typical South Tyrolean style there is an original majolica dry sauna, wooden floors and lots of space to relax.
